2013: What a way to end the year

576As the days get short and 2013 fades, we're getting a bit misty about our recent clients like Femi Kuti who've been nominated for a Grammy this year, as well as those who've gotten some love for on year-end lists.

Tal National's Nigerien Afropop got a shout-out from the New York Times, while Banda Magda and Van-Anh Vo landed on NPR's World Top 10 for 2013. Van-Anh also made NPR's overall Top 50 for 2013.

And while we're at it, let's not forget some of our recent exciting hits:
Christine Salem: NPR's Tiny Desk

Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi: NPR's Tiny Desk

Juaneco y su Combo: WSJ Feature

CD Baby: Billboard Feature

Analog Africa: Feature on PRI's The World

Richard Bennett: Feature on PRI's The World

globalFEST: Time Out NY

Sounds: The Encounter: NYT review

and last, but not least, Tal National again: Feature on PRI's The World

There are many, many more, many thoughtful pieces and surprising hits for the folks on our eclectic roster. It has us looking forward to 2014 and more good things to come! Happy year's end!
