National Endowment for the Arts’ Survey of Outdoor Arts Festivals

The National Endowment for the Arts is conducting a survey of outdoors arts festivals. This is an historic attempt to collect information about outdoor arts festivals and the role they play in our nation’s cities, towns, and neighborhoods. The results will be used to characterize the number and variety of outdoor arts festivals in the United States, the artists they employ, and the communities they serve. The findings will be shared with festival organizers, policy-makers, civic leaders, and the general public to give a detailed and accurate picture of the field.Festival organizers may complete the survey complete survey.
